What is lagoon Advanced Care?
Lagoon Advanced Care is Electrolux’s water-based wet-cleaning system, designed as a sustainable alternative to traditional PERC dry cleaning. The Essential Set pairs the WH6-6LAC washer with the TD6-7LAC dryer, along with specialised lagoon detergents and dedicated programs for outstanding results across garment types.
What is the capacity of the washer and dryer?
The WH6-6LAC washer handles up to 6kg of laundry, 4kg of wool, or 3kg of silk. The TD6-7LAC dryer has a matching 7kg drying capacity, so loads move straight from wash to dry without needing to split them.
Is this system suitable for dry-clean-only garments?
Yes. The lagoon system uses less mechanical action than conventional washing, making it gentle on fine textiles and wools labelled dry-clean only. It’s Woolmark-approved for delicate care.
How long does a full wash-to-dry cycle take?
Wash cycles run from 16-25 minutes depending on the program (wool, silk, or synthetic mix), and the TD6-7LAC dries garments fully in around 1 hour, with smart chemicals and processes eliminating the need for hang-drying.
Is professional installation required?
Yes. Installation involves electrical, water, drainage, and and ventilation connections that should be carried out by a qualified technician in line with local codes of practice. Ask our team for a quote.
