Flatwork ironers

Richard Jay’s range of flatwork ironers are designed
to keep business running smoothly.

Refined flatwork ironers for polished results

Richard Jay stocks four brands of flatwork ironers – GMP, Electrolux, Tolon and Indemac. All have undergone thorough tests in Australia’s harsh conditions and established a global reputation for success.

GMP flatwork ironers form the chest heated part of our range. Simple and reliable, these models make a great low-maintenance solution for remote locations with capacity for 10 to 30 kilograms of production per hour.

Electrolux flatwork ironers are ideal for medium volume facilities ideal for high-volume facilities, handling 25 to 100 kilograms of production per hour and delivering the ultimate linen finish every time.

Evaporation

Faster, more effective outcomes

High evaporation enhances results in two ways: it steams
more fibres, creating a superior finish, and saves on labour
by increasing the efficiency of the process.

Touch screen display

Simple control, tutorials & troubleshooting

The familiar touch screen experience is immediately understandable. Training tutorials are included with our latest control from GMP in Italy and will help new operators quickly learn how to achieve outstanding results. Troubleshooting is also simplified, with faults being easy to diagnose, reducing the requirement for skilled technicians to travel long distances to repair basic faults.

Tenax

The ultimate in tenacious padding

Typically, the steel wool padding used in chest heated ironers requires regular maintenance, which creates ongoing costs. Instead, we stock GMP ironers manufactured with long-wearing Tenax stainless steel spring padding.

Automation

Reducing labour &
improving production

Automatic feeding and folding technology
reduces the labour involved in the ironing
process by 50 to 75 percent.

Separated Pressure Roller

Delivering results for the long-term

Separated pressure rollers improve ironing results and
lengthen intervals between belt replacements – the most
expensive maintenance component of an Electrolux
Professional ironer.

Contact Surface

Making every contact count

A greater contact surface area makes for a better,
faster result.
