    Electrolux Drying Cabinet DC6-15

The Electrolux Professional DC6-15WW is a drying cabinet built specifically for worksuits, holding up to four suits at a time including Gore-Tex and quilted garments. Like other drying cabinets, it uses no mechanical action, so it suits bulky or delicate protective clothing that shouldn’t be tumble dried.

The cabinet runs at sub-atmospheric pressure, which stops air leaking into the room, and twin fans with dedicated air ducts give even airflow and a uniform drying result throughout. Two automatic drying programs stop once the load is dry: 75°C for impregnating Gore-Tex suits, which protects the suit for next use, and 60°C for quilted suits. Four detachable stainless steel hangers hold the suits, with hot air blown first through the inside of each suit and then around the outside for thorough drying.

Large doors and wide opening angles make loading and unloading easier, and adjustable feet simplify installation. The door can be opened briefly without stopping the drying process, and the cabinet saves time compared to flat or hang drying.

With its worksuit-specific programs and 15kg capacity, the DC6-15WW suits fire services, utilities, and industrial sites that need to dry and recondition protective workwear between shifts.

What is the capacity of the DC6-15WW?

The DC6-15WW holds four worksuits at once, with a load capacity of 15kg.

What makes this different from a standard drying cabinet?

The DC6-15WW is purpose-built for worksuits. It includes two dedicated programs: 75°C for impregnating Gore-Tex suits (protecting them for next use) and 60°C for quilted suits, and it holds suits on four detachable stainless steel hangers designed for even airflow through and around each garment.

How long does a drying cycle take?

A full cycle takes around 95 minutes, running the impregnation program for about 25 minutes followed by a 15-minute reconditioning cycle once the fabrics have dried.

How does the DC6-15WW achieve uniform drying?

It runs at sub-atmospheric pressure, which stops air leaking into the room, and uses twin fans with dedicated air ducts to keep airflow balanced throughout the cabinet.

    How is lint managed?

The cabinet ceiling contains four built-in lint filters.

    Is professional installation required?

The DC6-15WW connects to a 400V 3-phase power supply and needs a permanent connection to a separate duct or general ventilation system. We recommend a qualified technician to handle installation and ensure it complies with local codes of practice. Ask our team for a quote.

Where is the DC6-15WW suitable for?

With its worksuit-specific drying and impregnation programs, the DC6-15WW is well suited to fire services, utilities, and industrial sites needing to dry and recondition protective workwear between shifts.
